Questionnaire Results
Question 1
The gender of my audience is mainly females but there were still some males. There were double the amount of females that answered than males which means that my results will be more typical of female perspectives.
Question 2
The age of my results vary from under 12 to over 26. The majority of people who answered were over 16 therefore this will be my target audience when making my video.
Question 3
The favourite genre overall was rock closely followed by alternative/indie. I think that people may have chosen rock instead of indie as they didn't necessarily know that the music they like actually falls into the alternative rock category. Alternative rock is the overall genre that my subgenere falls into so I think my genre will fit quite well with the responses.
Question 4
I found that most people watch music videos only a few times a month.
Question 5
The favourite music artists of the respondents varied quite a bit. The overall genre of the artists they chose was indie/rock so my chosen genre goes well with the sort of music the respondents like.

There was a variety of favourite music videos from my respondents.
Question 7
The type of music videos preferred are narrative but people also like performance as well so I think I will include a bit of both.
Question 8
Twice the amount of people said that they would prefer a faster and upbeat version of a song over a slower ballad version. Therefore I am going to use the faster version of the song for my music video.
Question 9
Most people said that they think the best location for a performance would be on a stage so for my video I am going to add in some live performance on a stage. More locations people seemed to like was a studio setting or outside so I think I am going to include some performance outside. The green screen wasn't as popular so I might give it a go and add a bit in but not too much.
Question 10
The overall view of how a female artist should promote herself on a CD cover was similar. I am going to have my artist on the cover making her represent what she is without making her sexualised.
