Born To Die - Lana Del Rey
Ultraviolence - Lana Del Rey
The advert for Born To Die is the same as the album cover but with the whole of the original picture as on the album it is cropped down to a square. This creates a link between the two so it is instantly recognisable.
The added text includes the release date for the album and the names of the singles that have already been released which people will recognise. At the very bottom there is the amazon logo to show where the album can be purchased, her website address and the record labels logo.
The advert for Ultraviolence is different to the album cover. The picture used is different to the one on the album as it shows her lighting a cigarette, which is not as innocent as the album cover. The colour scheme is black and white which is similar to the album cover, but it also has red text as well as red lips and a yellow flame from the lighter. The text includes the name of the album, when it will be released and the singles that have already been released from the album which will be recognisable to people. At the bottom the text includes the amazon logo to show where the album can be purchased, her website address and the record labels logo.

The advert for Badlands is exactly the same as the album cover but just extended as the CD cover was a cropped version of it. The picture and text is exactly the same, there is just more sky in the advert to fill up the space. There is no logos or other text on the advert except for the album and artist's name. Having the same image and text creates a direct link between the two.
